“Harry has a very long and deep experience in the field and I would recommend his course to anybody who wants to understand their own body. Seeing things from the point of view of energy, stress, and metabolism lets us build a fuller picture of our health.
The impacts of energy deprivation and dieting and the harm they might cause us.
A contextual viewpoint of diet dogmas that sees benefits and drawbacks both - no “good and bad”.
An understanding of how some foods may lower metabolism, and some raise it.
A fuller picture of both male and female hormones and how they are in life, health, and warmth.
Why we might want to think twice about that 5HTP, Tryptophan, or Serotonin supplement.
Understanding Carbs, Fats, Protein, and Micronutrients from a metabolic perspective.
On top of this, we won’t be learning alone! Unlike many other courses these are held in supportive group spaces, with gathering and support time every week and with a focus on building an ongoing community.
Learning and practicing together in supportive and compassionate group environments.
2 hours a week of learning plus an open-ended Q&A/discussion each session.
Some tools and ideas necessary to get warm, be creative, and refill your energy.
Resources and homework for self-study and confirmation.
Ongoing support and question answering from me through a shared SignalChat group so you can check things with me whether during or after our sessions.
This course is a crash course for metabolic theory, though designed to follow my Metabolic Intro Video Series, as well as a stepping stone towards independent learning and communal practice groups. There will likely be some shocks, new ideas, and plenty of suggestions to practice, experiment with, and integrating if you so choose.
Coming Soon!
Up until recently a four evening course where I would share more of the fundamentals of metabolic theory with a group of participants, creating room for learning and context building along the way.
Soon to be a 12 part video series as soon as time allows!
